
Not all Republicans are happy with McCain's performance on the campaign trail. An increasing number of conservatives are publicly criticizing him: Republican Richard Cizik, chief lobbyist of the 30-million-member Washington, D.C.-based National Association of Evangelicals and one of the USA's most powerful Christian evangelical leaders said "I thought John McCain was a principled person,".
