Pro-life Democrats at the Democratic National Convention

Pro-life Democrats (DFLA) were welcomed participants in Denver for the Democratic National Convention. Although the organization is still working on a full inclusion in the Party for the pro-life point of view, much progress has been made. Pro-life Democrat Tim Roemer (DFLA Advisory Board Member, former Congressman and Chairman of the 9-11 Commission ) represented pro-life democrats on a faith panel "Common Ground on the Common Good". Congressman Roemer spoke about the need to find common ground to reduce the abortion rate in America. Panelists also discussed affordable health care, a living wage and immigration.

The presence of Pro-life Democrats in the Denver convention shows the willingness of Sen. Barack Obama to discuss with diverse organizations in order to bring about REAL change!
