Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President
According to their website, 2 million votes were cast and Barack Obama won. Nickelodeon has held a “Kids’ Vote” every election year since 1988 and the kids have correctly predicted the winner in four out of the last five U.S. presidential campaigns. In this election year’s Kids Pick the President “Kids’ Vote”, Senator Obama received 51% and Senator McCain received 49%.

Earlier this month (October 14, 2008) almost 250,000 kids voted to elect their president. Since 1940, the results of the student vote have mirrored the outcome of the general election. The kids got it wrong just twice! This year, Barack Obama won with 57 percent of the vote, to 39 percent for John McCain.
