The Matthew 25 Network : Donate For Change

The Matthew 25 Network

We are only days away from one of the most historic elections in our lifetime. For Matthew 25, this effort has not only been about winning an election, it is also about ending the days where our faith is used as weapon to divide people rather than a force of compassion and hope in the world.

Last night I got a phone call from a woman in Virginia who told me "I want to support Obama for President, but people at my church told me that I would be betraying God if I voted for him." She said that she had heard our ads on the radio and was so heartened she looked us up and decided to call. She just needed to talk to other Christians that were supporting Obama so that she would know she is not alone.

Many of us have heard stories like this- and know that our positive message of support for Senator Obama is still needed in these these final crucial days of the campaign.

In the last week, we have run radio ads in Michigan, Colorado, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Virginia and North Carolina. Will you help us keep our ads on the airwaves? We can't do it without you. Please make a donation today to keep us on the air.

The Christian Right is stepping up their attacks against Senator Obama, such as the fear mongering "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America" being circulated by Focus on the Family Action. You can read their letter and add your voice to our response here. It is clear that our voice is needed to counter these desperate tactics.

As Christians, we have been choosing hope over fear for 2000 years. The Matthew 25 Network is making our final stand for a new hope-filled and compassionate Christian witness in this year's election. I hope you will join us!

Thank you so much for all you have done to support us along this path.

Blessings all,

Mara Vanderslice
