61 Days of Prayer for Barack Obama: Day 41

Our Lord God we come again to thank You for giving Barack Obama an excellent spirit and for having favor upon his life in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) We thank You for the sense of peace You have given us in the midst of this storm. We thank You for the wisdom You have given our future President, Barack Obama, in the midst of this turmoil. Dear God with 40 days left to go before the election; we pray that at this signficant moment that via tonight's debate You will give Barack Obama the bread of heaven that you gave Elijah when he "ate and drank and went in the strength of Your food forty days and nights to the mount...." (1Kings 19:8) May you grant the same favor to Barack Obama. May food of victory in tonight's debate, that You grant Barack, strenghten him and take him through the next 40 days and nights to become the next President of the United States of America. This we fervently pray and ask for in Jesus' name, Amen.
