Few weeks ago, the head of France's opposition Socialist Party, François Hollande, gave a ringing endorsement of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, saying that a win by the Illinois senator would be "good news" for the United States and the world.
Francois Hollande said an Obama victory would usher in a positive, new chapter in international relations.
