Day 17:
Thank You God for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Thank You for General Colin Powell's endorsement and words admonishing the republican party and McCain/Palin ticket for demagoguery. Dear God, in the final days of this campaign, we are reminded of your guidance in Galatians 6 encouraging us in the face of demagoguery and deception; "Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at. For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap....And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. "Let us march on to the finish line with vigor and bold courageousness in Jesus Christ, Amen!

Day 18: Thank You God for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3). Thank You God for the records that are being set in early voting all over the country. And, thank You for the record Obama campaign fundraising of $150 million in September! Lord please guide the stewards of these funds so that they may be used for good and to assure that Your will is done in this election. Father today we pray Your continued favor and blessings on voters and voting process. Please intervene to assure that over the next 17 days any attempts to manipulate or disenfranchise voters is thwarted. Dear God as the attacks from the enemy continue, let us move forward with confidence remembering that You said; " Do no worry or be anxious for anything, but seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness and You will provide all things to us. (Matthew 6:31-33). In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

Day 19:
Father God, we thank You for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Lord we need You now down the stretch as many are weary and tired of the baseless attacks, and attempts to mislead the people. We know that You "the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary. You give power to the faint and weary...and increase strength. Even youths and young men [can] faint, grow weary, stumble and fall exhausted, But those who wait for the Lord shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." (Isaiah 40:28-31). Lord God we ask this favor and annointing of renewed strength on Barack Obama, his supporters, voters, undecideds and campaign workers in the final days of campaigning. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

Day 20:
Dear God, we thank You for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) As we turn to the final days of this campaign and voting has begun, we ask that you watch over the voting process and bless and protect the voters. Please thwart any attempt to manipulate the vote for false results. Please let all the people know that Your will carries and that, whatever the outcome, we must trust in You to deliver us from this financial mess and to restore the dignity of our country. Father in these final 19 days to the vote and 20 days to the day after the election, there are signs of worry from Obama supporters about Republican dirty tricks. Please God, provide comfort and reassurance as we drive even harder to the finish line. Let us not be distracted by the enemy and remember that "If God is for us, who [can be] against us? (Romans 8:31) Thank You God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!

Day 22:
Father God, we thank You for giving Barack an excellent spirit and for having favor upon his life in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Lord, we ask Your unmerited favor upon Barack in tonight's debate. We trust that You have well prepared him for whatever he will face. Please provide him with a clear mind, wisdom, understanding of the issues, clarity of speech, insightful discernment, solid message and strong, favorable articulation of solutions for the needs of the people and the nation. Please let the meditation of Barack's heart and the words of his mouth be acceptable in Your sight. And, let any attempt to stir Barack to negativity or anger fail. We thank You that Barack is a "child of God who will defeat evil because greater is You that is within Barack than he who is in the world". (1John 4:4). Please God, according to Your will, surround Barack Obama with songs and shouts of joy and deliverance in victory tonight and in the election. Amen!

Day 23: Father God, we thank You for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Lord; as Barack readies himself for tomorrow's debate we pray from Psalm 37 asking that Barack; "trust in You and do good; delight himself also in You and know that You will give him desires and secret petitions of his heart. Commit his way to You, Lord...and You will make his uprightness and right standing with You go forth as the light, and his justice and right as the noonday." With Your help, may Barack Obama and Joe Biden;"be still and rest in the You; wait for You and patiently lean themselves upon You; and, fret not because.. of [those] who bring wicked devices to pass. Let them cease from anger and forsake wrath...for evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the You, Lord, shall inherit the earth." In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

(Daniel 6:3) We thank You for shedding light on voting irregularities and for preventing fraud, deception, trickery and manipulation in all aspects of the voting process. We thank You for John McCain's recent encouragement of respect for Barack and his realization that his hate and fear mongering has gone too far. Please stay in the forefront of Barack and Joe's minds guiding their every action, reminding them that their impending victory is not of their own strength, but of "God Who is all the while effectually at work in them. [Let them] do all things without grumbling, faultfinding, complaining or doubting...to show themselves to be children of God...in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [and to be] bright lights in a [dark] world" and true leaders in a crisis. (Daniel 6:3) We thank You for the blessing of choice in this election, for free will and for a voting process that lets the people's voices be heard. Lord we thank You for interceding to make sure that every legitimate vote is counted and every attempt to undermine, deceive or game the process is thwarted. Lord God in Proverbs 32:8 You said that "You would instruct us and teach us in the way we should go; You would counsel us with Your eye upon us". Please counsel and guide your people now in every aspect of this election. And, please God, continue to protect Barack and Joe with Your promise in Proverbs 32:8. Give them a "...hiding place. Preserve them from trouble, and surround them with songs and shouts of deliverance" in victory. In Jesus holy name we pray, Amen!

Day 28:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) We thank You for Your continued protection of Barack Obama in the face of personal attacks, race baiting and zealous shouts of "kill him" and "terrorist" from fans of the opponent sparked by incendiary rhetoric in public speeches. From Romans 8 we pray these words: "What shall we say to all of this? If God is for Barack, who can be against him? Neither suffering, nor affliction, nor tribulation, nor calamity, nor distress, nor persecution nor hunger, nor destitution, nor peril, nor sword shall separate Barack and Joe from Christ's love. Amid all threats to them, Barack and Joe are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through You Who love us. We are persuaded beyond doubt that nothing in creation can separate them from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!

Day 29:
Dear God we thank You for victory in last night's debate and for giving Barack and Joe excellent spirits and for having favor upon their lives in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Today we pray from Psalm 35: "Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with Barack; fight against those who fight against him. Malicious and unrighteous witnesses are rising up against him and like profane mockers they gnash their teeth. Lord rescue Barack from their destructions. Let not his foes rejoice over him; neither let them wink with the eye who hate him without cause. For they do not speak peace, but devise deceitful matters against those who are quiet in the land. Let those who favor Barack's righteous cause shout for joy and be glad and say continually, 'Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant' . And our tongues shall talk of Your righteousness and justice and of Your Praise all the day long." Amen!

Father God,

We thank you for your presence and direction as we travel this long hard road to victory in November. Lord we thank you for the sense of peace You have given us in the midst of this storm. We thank You for the wisdom You have given our future president, Barack Obama, in the midst of this turmoil. Barack has responded with calm, wisdom and peace which we know comes from You. We asked for transparency and truth and Lord once again You have answered our prayers. We pray that Barack's response to our financial mess opens the eyes of America to his temperament and leadership style showing the positive, true character in a way no commercial or debate could ever do. Father we thank You and we pray for power and strength and a clear mind for Barack as he meets with President Bush to discuss the financial mess. We have faith and know that all power is in Your hands and that nothing is impossible for those who love, trust and have faith in You. We pray that You will continue to loosen the binds of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free and break every yoke. Dear Lord we come today and this week thanking you for giving Barack Obama an excellent spirit and for having favor upon his life in every situation and circumstance. (Daniel 6:3) Thank You for being with him as he prepares for the debates in Florida this week. Give him clear thinking, faith and favor to perform well in the debates on Friday. May he seek You and pray often during his preparation time. Let the distractions be minimal and give Barack deep understanding about everything so that he will be the most prepared, articulate and be viewed as the best candidate to lead our country. Lord while he is preparing, please cover him from the his rivals and from demands of the latest news, event or attack ads. USA: Racial Views Endager Obama's Win

In his Newsweek article, Jacob Weisberg says that "with every natural and structural advantage, Barack Obama is running only neck and neck with John McCain. Obama has built a crack political operation, raised record sums and inspired millions with his eloquence and vision while McCain has struggled with a fractious campaign team, deficits in clarity and discipline, and remains a stranger to charisma but the two appear to be tied." Weisberg concludes that this is due to racial prejudice which could cost Obama the election. An AP-Yahoo News poll, conducted with Stanford University confirms Weisberg theory. Meanwhile, the whole world is watching...

Christians should know better. I don't mean those who simply call themselves "Christians" but those who strive to live a Christian life based on the Bible principles. I'd like to point out that the Bible says in 1 John 1:5 God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.--Verse 9 says that Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness (not with God, not Christian). And verse 11 specifies that whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him. Finally, 1 John 3:15 go further in saying that anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
It seems to me that one cannot claim to be a "Christian" and be racist at the same time. As Christians, we should definitely pray in reference to 1 John 1:11 that God opens people eyes so that they can see and understand what Christianity is all about.

I know that most of you have watched this video several times but after reading Rabbi Menachem Frohman's letter to Barack Obama, I feel the need to remind Obama supporters worldwide that despite the obstacles and the struggles along the way, we can make a difference if we only put aside our pride and self-interest and work towards a common good. Yes we can!

Dear God thank You for granting us enlightenment and discernment in this election. As we go to the polls to choose Barack Obama as our next President we thank You for guiding that decision. We give you the glory and honor that when "our hearts and souls hunger for You [in wisdom and enlightenment] we are filled", (Luke 6:21). Because of You we can rebuke the demon of racism, bias and election trickery and while some say; "Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House ....[and that] one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks [potentially causing] the percentage of voters who may turn away from Obama...to be larger than the final difference between the candidates..."[http://news.yahoo.com/page/election-2008-political-pulse-obam a-race), we say;"but for the power of our awesome God!"
